Answer: You MUST fill up the Application Form and one of our staff can get back to you. If you do not then there is nothing we can do to help you

Question: What are the stages I have to go through to join SHARPLOOK?
Answer: 1. Fill up our application form and email it to us 2. We shall contact you as soon as we've received it and taken a look at it 3. When contacted, be prepared to set aside a time and date to have an interview with one of our staff 4. In prepration for your interview please have with you your photos, portfolio , proof of age and ID (provisional licence, passport,etc) 5. Don't be disappointed if your not successful, we will give you a list of other agencies to contact

Question: Is there a contract I have to sign?
Answer: YES.
However at the interview stage you will be given a pre-contract which you can take with you and examine at your own time
and whatever query you have, we will review the contract until your satisfied

Question: What will happen if I am continously late for castings?
Answer: You will be given a verbal warning first.
If your punctuality continues to suffer you will then be given a Final Written Warning.
If things still not improve you'll be sent a written Termination Letter from SHARPLOOK.
Attendancy and puncuality is very strict here at SHARPLOOK as it is a representation of your professionalism and how YOU represent yourself aswell as SHARPLOOK

Question: What are the reason for my SHARPLOOK contract to be terminated?
Answer: Bad punctuality (as stated above), disrespecting clients, continous turning downs of offered work etc.

Question: If I have problems in being available what will happen?
Answer: As soon as you know you won't be able to make a commitment to working with us then you must let us know immediately!
Remember we don't bite and we can't read your mind so we must hear from you as soon as possible so we can try to work around what has happened PLEASE NOTE If you don't communicate to us at all then we will terminate your contract and leave you a termination email in your inbox.
You have a minimum of 2hours and a maximum of 24 to contact us berfore any casting job, interview or meeting.

Question: How much will I get paid?
Answer: We try to have a flexible approach in various ways in paying our models, for example our STANDARD RATE is 15%-20% however if the job was to be for a major company we then would work out a much higher rate for you.
You may ask why?
Well the simple answer to that is if we keep you happy then you'll be happy with staying with us.
Payments are made via a cheque form PLEASE NOTE We have to get paid by the client to be able to pay you.
This may, in some cases, take time but we will never forget your circumstances and will endeavor to make sure you don't have to constantly remind us

Question: Do I need a portfolio?
Answer: You will need a portfolio, if you have one then great but if not then we need to get one put together for you. Without a portfolio we can not get you
work of any sort so you may have to be patient as we work quick to get your portfolio together

Question: How long will it take before I get a work?
Answer: You first need to be interviewed, transfered onto our books then we need to promote you and market you. We have to look for work for you and some times this may take a while however unlike other agencies we will keep you up to date rather than you always having to call in to find out if there is anything.

Question: What type of models are you looking for?
Answer: We ARE NOT INTERESTED in your shape, your size, if your tall, short, dark or fair, large, plus-sized or have any body art or piercings.
We at SHARPLOOK believe ANY ONE can be a model and you don't have to be a size zero and "perfect" to enter this industry.
All types of models are wanted!!!

Question: If I am not confident or assertive will you still be interested?
Answer: In some cases YES we still would like to work with you as we have a program that sometimes works for a lot of our models, so don't give up.
